Volunteer in 2017
Blanket BC is looking for energetic Blanketeers for it’s 9th Annual “Drive On The Line” blanket drive for November 24 & 25 2017.
We will have 4/6/8 hr shifts available. !
We will have Blanketeers at the following Canada Line stations;
• Waterfront
• Vancouver City Centre
• Yaletown/Roundhouse
• Broadway/City Hall
• Oakridge/41st
• Marine Drive Station
• Bridgeport
• Lansdowne
This major event not only is a super fun event which attracts major media attention, but it creates massive awareness to what we do, who we help and it’s our best event to collect 1000’s of blankets, clothing and money. In fact, it’s our main resource to bring in the funds we need to operate.
We normally receive help from approximately 150 enthusiastic Blanketeers, however this year, we’ve added a Marine Drive Station and would love to have at least 175 Blanketeers sign up!
