BC whiskey Wizards is a group of guys on Facebook who don’t know each other but treat each other like family… Its a place where guys can be vulnerable and ask for help and help us work towards ending the stigma that males have to be tough and can’t show emotion. It’s a place where you can feel comfortable sharing what’s really bothering you. It’s a place where you can offer advice it’s a place where you can get together and make new friends and go on hikes and talk about your problems.
Without hesitation our group members help a fellow brother so they don’t have to choose between rent or food. We are constantly collecting donations to add to food hampers. If they are working or not working there’s a place for them here…there are postings for job offers and postings for job-seeking.. There are posts for trades specifically for people who don’t understand certain skills /they may need help with like changing a tire or how to build something that they’re unfamiliar with. There are mental health check in’s asking our guys if they’re okay and we get honest responses.. Our group continues to adapt to whatever our guys need. We are just a group of guys coming together to really make a difference in the world.
The only requirements you have to be is 19 or older from BC and male. Trans and non-binary welcome.
No matter what your story no matter where you came from you’re welcome you are a brother. All of our members join in in one way or another at paying it forward whether it’s by :

Just enter your addresses ONLY in your select city in announcements ( any other addresses will be deleted ) /pick an address from announcements, gather a basket of snacks treats and some booze /420 if they partake. Drop at door step , knock and run like hell.
You can dress up , video tape , take pictures

We DO NOT ALLOW GROUP MEMBERS TO GIVE DIRECT MONEY TO requesters.
We DO NOT want our guys taken advantage of so we protect their generosity. We send a member / admin out to shop or we povide gift cards.
Every situation is different.
We do have a donation limit per request!
This is a one time “help you get on your feet” solution.
And it solely depends on the generosity of our guys..
